Well the date was planned way back at the end of 2004, the site sorted, plaques ordered, forms printed and sent out. the sunshine was ordered and ideally a good day should be had by all. In actually fact this, judging by your remarks was exactly what we got. A line of sixteen engines that i was extremely proud of. We were viewed by plenty of visitors and after all that is one of the reasons we go out for. If every even that we stage was as good as this then, and i don't see why i shouldn't be, then our season should be superb.
As you will see of the photographs of this early season crank-up each and every engine shone in the sunshine. We staged a raffle which of course does help with the day to day running costs on days such as this. In actual fact everything went as we expect and we look forward to plenty more days such as this in 2005. Judging by the carrier bags of goodies coming out of the garden centre you all took advantage of being able to purchase your spring gardening requirements. On behalf of our club we must thank Wyevale for the continued use of their sites.
